Treasure Hunt, May 8th 2011, 2pm

Start Venue: Football Factory / Nidus Studios Cwmbran
2.00pm – Registration of Teams/Vehicles/Briefing etc
2.15pm – First car live on route
Time limit 2 hours for each vehicle - All teams to check in with organisers at designated end location.
As part of the ongoing fund-raising drive, a treasure hunt has been arranged and is available for all to enter.
Each team must have a name, vehicle, nominated driver, and clue reader who will be required to read the information on the ‘clue sheet’ ensuring that the driver is able to concentrate on driving legally and safely. Other passengers are then able to join in with working out the clues and finding the answers. There are some specific clues and challenges for younger and older children alike.
Vehicles will line up in order of arrival, hopefully using the large car park area that runs along the left hand side as you face the football factory. Chris and Erika will take details of team name and the registration number of each vehicle, collect the entry fee of £5 and give out the ‘clue sheet’ to be read before departure.
Each driver will be asked to zero their milometer as they leave the car park at 2-5 minute intervals, depending on numbers of participants. The Treasure Hunt will take you on a round trip journey of about 25 miles, ending at a location to be announced, where afternoon tea/coffee and cakes will be available. Please could each team bring cakes to share.
A cash prize will be given to the winner, as well as discovering the contents of the “treasure chest”. (Sharp intake of breath here please!!). In the event of there being 2 winners, i would suggest the prize money is split, but if there are 3 or more winners names will go into a hat to then pick just 1 prize winner.
