Due to the fact that the original members of the choir are getting older (aren't we all!), we are in the position of being able to now form two sections within the choir:  Junior for choir members aged 8-11 and Senior for choir members aged 11-17 (those aged 11 & 12 will sing in both sections).

We are really keen to have Tenor and Bass sections within the Senior choir, so if you know of a boy who loves singing, please point him in the direction of this website (this page in particular) and encourage him to give us a go!

8 of the girls from Nidus Children's Choir have formed a group called "Dolce" and have been given the fantastic opportunity to take part in "Sports Relief does Glee Club" which will be shown on CBBC in March.  Last week, they took part (with 23 other groups) in the heats, filming at the BBC in Scotland.

They had a brilliant time during the filming, and met the judges, David & Carrie Grant, & Sisco as well as the programme's presenters, Sam and Mark.

There are 3 groups in each heat; the judges award points to each group, and the top 5 groups from all of the heats will go through to the live finals in March.

All we can say at this point is that the girls did us all proud & the judges were particularly impressed with how strong their vocals are.  Watch this space for further information...
