After a long day at school, 10 of our singers volunteered to visit the dementia ward at Llandough. At least half of these are new to the choir so big well done. The children performed the most well known Christmas songs/carols as these are often remembered by patients with this condition because usually they are learned at an early age and repeated annually so stay in the memory more firmly. It was a big ask after a busy week with our other concerts and school commitments but another massive effort and was wonderful to see the ladies brighten and obviously enjoy by singing along and one even dancing and trying her hand at conducting. The singers were very professional and received massive applause and many messages since thanking us for bringing such joy. Thank you to all parents for making this possible. Heidi Nicholson.
Sixteen of the choir performed a mini concert for the customers of Cineworld. Fantastic effort from those who came and big thanks to former choir members Alex and Georgia who came along to support our new young singers. Had great feedback from the customers and staff. Heidi Nicholson
