Yesterday, Sunday 10 July, Nidus visited Ikea in Cardiff where the children sang between 1pm and 4pm to the delight and surprise of the Sunday shoppers. We also had the added bonus of performances by the Nidus Touch dancers.
Many people commented on how beautifully the children sang, and I'd like to think we helped lower the normal stress levels seen on a Sunday afternoon in Ikea.
A large proportion of the choir's supporters also made the most of the opportunity to sample Ikea's famous meatballs, and marvel at the wonder of unlimited coffee and a cinnamon bun for 50p.
The great news is that we collected £346 from the generous shoppers of Cardiff, which will go towards our Cincinnati fund which is growing steadily.
